Gros Morne Lomond River

First full day there we went for a big snowshoe down to the bay along the Lomond River.

Our campsite the second night. Yes, we are on the road to the campground, and that is the gate buried in the background. There was no going anywhere without snowshoes, we'd sink about three feet. whee!

Looking back toward the Tablelands.

Gros Morne Tablelands

These are the Tablelands, in the southern part of Gros Morne National Park.

Trout River Pond.

Our campsite. Sarah is wearing snowshoes; which we needed to wear most of the time as the snow is still quite deep in places. And yes it was a little cold camping in the snow but the wind was light and we could feel warmth on the breeze; which is rare where I live by the open ocean.

And there was rain but everything seems all good when the wind is not knocking you over.

Sasha and Chega in Gander on the way there.

Sneak Peak

Oh friends, I've been shut up in my house for some months now. Not answering the phone; barely seeing people other than G. As an artist the best thing you can do is get everyone else's voices out of your head and figure out what it is you really want to do.
I haven't shown you anything from the studio, I've been keeping it all to myself. Here is a detail shot of a large painting, still not done but so very close.
